All products synthesized, distributed, or sold by hábit research, inc. (“hábit,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) are intended exclusively for in-vitro research and laboratory study by qualified researchers in a controlled laboratory environment. Products are not pharmaceuticals, dietary supplements, cosmetics, food additives, or medical devices.
- Human consumption, ingestion, inhalation, injection, topical application, or any other in-vivo administration
- Veterinary use or administration to any animal
- Clinical diagnostic, prophylactic, or therapeutic purposes
- Compounding, formulation, repackaging, or resale as a finished drug product
- Food, dietary supplement, or cosmetic applications
01Researcher Qualification
By placing an order, you represent and warrant that you are a qualified researcher — an individual or entity engaged in bona fide scientific research within an appropriate institutional, academic, or commercial laboratory setting, with the training, facilities, and expertise required to handle research chemicals safely and lawfully. You further represent that the products will be used solely for the purposes stated above.
02No Medical Claims
hábit makes no representations, warranties, or claims, express or implied, regarding the safety, efficacy, biological activity, therapeutic potential, or suitability of any product for any human or animal use. No statement made by hábit, in any medium — including product pages, the journal, marketing materials, customer service correspondence, or third-party content — has been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) or any equivalent regulatory authority. Products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or condition.
03Compliance With Applicable Law
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your purchase, possession, handling, storage, transport, use, and disposal of any product complies with all applicable federal, state, local, and international laws, regulations, and institutional policies, including but not limited to:
- The U.S. Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (21 U.S.C. § 301 et seq.)
- The Controlled Substances Act, where applicable
- Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) workplace standards
- Institutional biosafety, IRB, and IACUC requirements
- Hazardous materials transport regulations (DOT, IATA)
04Assumption of Risk and Indemnification
You assume all risk associated with the receipt, handling, and use of products purchased from hábit. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless hábit research, inc., its officers, directors, employees, agents, suppliers, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your purchase, possession, or use of any product, including any misuse, off-label use, or use in violation of this notice.
05Right to Refuse or Cancel Orders
hábit reserves the right, in its sole discretion and without liability, to refuse, cancel, or limit any order, terminate any account, and report any suspected unlawful or unauthorized use to the appropriate authorities. Indicators of non-research use, including but not limited to references to dosing, personal use, or human/animal administration in any communication, may result in immediate order cancellation and account termination.

By placing an order, checking the acknowledgment box at checkout, or otherwise completing a transaction with hábit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Research Use Only Notice in its entirety.
